Your First 7 Days: A Quick Overview

We've broken down the process into simple, manageable steps to ensure a smooth transition. Focus on the core tasks in the first week.

Step 1: Account Setup & Compliance

This is the critical first stage. Please complete all mandatory paperwork, set up your security credentials, and review the company's data privacy policy. This section requires approximately 2 hours of focused effort.

Tasks include: signing your employment contract (digitally), setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA), and a brief anti-phishing training module.

Step 2: Meet Your Team & Manager

Getting to know the people you'll be working with is essential for a great start. Review the organizational chart and schedule your one-on-one introduction meetings. You will receive an email with calendar invites soon.

Understanding team dynamics and communication styles early on fosters better collaboration. We encourage you to ask lots of questions during your initial meetings.

Step 3: IT Access & Software Setup

Ensure your company laptop is configured correctly. Install all required internal software, including the VPN client and communication tools (Slack/Teams). If you encounter any issues, please contact the IT helpdesk immediately using the temporary credentials provided in your welcome pack.

All software must be licensed and approved. Do not install unauthorized external applications on your work machine to maintain system integrity and security.

Step 4: Training Modules & Culture

Complete the core corporate training modules on ethics, company values, and diversity & inclusion. These modules are mandatory and typically take around 4 hours in total. They provide a vital foundation for our company culture.

Modules include: Code of Conduct, Respect in the Workplace, and an introduction to our corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
